Earlier I posted videos about Base jumping at MBS and base jumping at Tianmen Shan, now on the 60th year after the first ascent of Mount Everest, a Red Bull team of daredevil base jumpers took to the North Face of Mount Everest and attempted the world's highest BASE jump ever - 7220 meters (23,688ft) above sea level.

Austrian Felix Baumgartner must be the most famous man on Earth this week after his supersonic freefall from the edge of space 24 miles up. The Red Bull Stratos, a mission to the edge of space, Felix Baumgartner hit Mach 1.24, or 833.9 mph, after hopping out of a capsule that had reached an altitude of 128,100 feet above the Earth. Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5

After Apple revealed the launch of iPhone 5, Samsung ran a new print ad with the tagline — "It doesn't take a genius" — that takes a direct shot at the iPhone 5. The ad made comparison of a list of features and hardware specifications between the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple's iPhone 5. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but even I felt the ad was mostly one-sided and it came across as being petty.

Apple fans have fought back, with their own variants, scribbling out perceived errors, replacing text and criticising Samsung’s smartphone.Two of the altered versions are below

EURO 2012

After the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA European Football Championship is the biggest football spectacle for us football fans the world over. After 4 years of wait, the Rooneys', the Riberys', the Torress', and the Ronaldos' of the world will be in Poland or Ukraine to do battle and try to reach the pinnacle of their sport.

The Euro 2012 tournament is coming to Poland-Ukraine starting June 8 and will last until July 1. It will feature the very best players in the Western hemisphere as they represent their country and chase European golry!
