A friend emailed the following to me, I thought I would share with you....
It takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one. After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews, albeit they may lack a formal higher education, has ever lacked a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS ' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.
By the way, UPS is the only major airline that has never, had an accident.
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
*
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Probably because auto-land is not installed on this aircraft.
*
P: Something loose in cockpit
S: Something tightened in cockpit
*
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.
*
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode has a 200 ft. per min. descent.
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
*
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.
*
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.
*
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what friction locks are for.
*
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF IS inoperative in OFF mode.
*
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.
*
P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
*
P: Aircraft acting funny
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right and be serious.
*
P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.
*
P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.
*
And the best one for last
*
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like midget pounding on something with a hammer.
S: Took hammer away from midget.

The Rise of The Phoenix
The "Phoenix" painted in Chilean colors of red, white and blue, was lowered and raised for the 33rd time and the last miner was rescued from the San Jose mine in Chile after being trapped 700m underground for 70 days!
33 men resurfaced one after another, in a 22 hours rescue operation.
We lived in less than heroic times and the miners have been our teachers through their ordeals. Their old-fashioned heroism had taught us to keep the faith, staying the course, not losing hope. The rescuers lifted them from their underground "hell" one by one, but truly, it was they who had lifted an entire nation, and the world beyond.

Legendary Sapporo
I've always enjoyed watching good TV commercials and marveled at the clever guerrilla marketing campaign those sports advertising came up with.
But these entertaining TVCs are somewhat hard to come by, what with all the "noise" and "clutters" being served to us viewers.
Here I found a genius of a TV commercial and I really enjoyed the high quality of it. I hope you enjoy it too!

Prophetic Oracle
In the second semi-final of World Cup 2010, Spain has just defeated Germany 1-0 to advance to its first ever World Cup Final, where they will do battle with Holland.
What makes this result even more amazing was the prophetic vision of an 8-legged oracle called Paul the Octopus.
British by birth and a German by residence, Paul has proved once again its prediction was spot on. This "pick the winner" event was even telecast live on German TV!

Football Wizards
Argentina may have been knocked out of the quarter-finals of World Cup 2010 by Germany, but they still boast the World Player of the Year, Lionel Messi and the coach Diego Maradona, who mesmerized the whole world with his magic in Mexico 1986. Here's a video comparison of these two football wizards:

Preview of Universal Studios Singapore
Universal Studios Singapore in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will be open (albeit a soft launch) to the public from March 18 at 8.28am.
During the Chinese New Year period in February, there was a sneak preview of this first Universal Studios theme park in Southeast Asia and I was there to soak in the new playground.
Here are a few snapshots I took during the sneak-peek:

Hot Na'vi Sex Scene in Animation
This video may not be suitable for minors.
This is a hilarious animation loosely based on the hit movie Avatar.
The creator of this video Harry Patridge, says, "I wanted to make this due to the fact it bugged me in the movie that Jake managed to nail Neytiri with little to no knowledge of Na'vi mating practices. I mean, I'm assuming it's pretty similar, but considering they have magic hair veins that connect with nature, there's obviously some pretty big anatomical differences..."

Super Bowl Commercials
Super Bowl Sunday is upon us once again and being the most-watched American television broadcast, the commercials are as hotly contested as the on-field actions.
Every year I look forward to be entertained by the Super Bowl commercials because with a 30-sec slot costing a few million dollars, you can be sure those advertisers to churn out very high quality ads to capture the attention of the millions of eyeballs.
One of my favourite Super Bowl ads for 2009 has to be Bud Light's Drinkability.
So which is your favourite Super Bowl commercial?
