World Cup Vision

Paul the Prophetic Octopus has done it again, correctly predicting the winner of FIFA World Cup 2010 Final between Spain and Holland.

Spain emerged victorious with a 1-0 win in extra-time. Congratulations to Spain on winning the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Legendary Sapporo

I've always enjoyed watching good TV commercials and marveled at the clever guerrilla marketing campaign those sports advertising came up with.

But these entertaining TVCs are somewhat hard to come by, what with all the "noise" and "clutters" being served to us viewers.

Here I found a genius of a TV commercial and I really enjoyed the high quality of it. I hope you enjoy it too!

Prophetic Oracle

In the second semi-final of World Cup 2010, Spain has just defeated Germany 1-0 to advance to its first ever World Cup Final, where they will do battle with Holland.

What makes this result even more amazing was the prophetic vision of an 8-legged oracle called Paul the Octopus.

British by birth and a German by residence, Paul has proved once again its prediction was spot on. This "pick the winner" event was even telecast live on German TV!

Football Wizards

Argentina may have been knocked out of the quarter-finals of World Cup 2010 by Germany, but they still boast the World Player of the Year, Lionel Messi and the coach Diego Maradona, who mesmerized the whole world with his magic in Mexico 1986. Preview of Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will be open (albeit a soft launch) to the public from March 18 at 8.28am.

During the Chinese New Year period in February, there was a sneak preview of this first Universal Studios theme park in Southeast Asia and I was there to soak in the new playground.
