Watching the video though, you can see why the player is being compared to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi as he shows amazing close control to dribble past opponents in a similar fashion to the pint-sized Argentine football wizard.

Super Bowl 2011 Commercials

Super Bowl 2011 coincided with the Chinese New Year long weekend and was the reason why this was posted a little delayed.

It's that time of the year and only time of the year that I'd enjoyed having commercials breaks on TV. But due to time difference, I always watched the Super Bowl commercials online, and have the time to enjoyed them and picked my favourites.

There was not one commercials that stood out this year, but my favourite this year has got to be the Darth Vader Kid, Volkswagen commercial.

But if you don't have the time to watch all 61 Super Bowl 2011 commercials, here's a video compilation of all 61 ads in a 2-mins video.

Pilots VS Mechanics

A friend emailed the following to me, I thought I would share with you....

It takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one. After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews, albeit they may lack a formal higher education, has ever lacked a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS ' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.

By the way, UPS is the only major airline that has never, had an accident.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
*
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Probably because auto-land is not installed on this aircraft.

*
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF IS inoperative in OFF mode.
*
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.
*
P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
*
P: Aircraft acting funny
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right and be serious.
*

The Rise of The Phoenix

The "Phoenix" painted in Chilean colors of red, white and blue, was lowered and raised for the 33rd time and the last miner was rescued from the San Jose mine in Chile after being trapped 700m underground for 70 days!

33 men resurfaced one after another, in a 22 hours rescue operation.

We lived in less than heroic times and the miners have been our teachers through their ordeals. Their old-fashioned heroism had taught us to keep the faith, staying the course, not losing hope. The rescuers lifted them from their underground "hell" one by one, but truly, it was they who had lifted an entire nation, and the world beyond.
