These rare birds were sighted sashaying proudly among holiday makers in a hotel on a resort island.
These unusual host of the resort hotel were one of the highlights especially with children. They were so excited to see these peacocks roaming freely.
Upon seeing them , I couldn't help but whipped out my digital camera with video recording function to capture the precious footage.

and it was in your living room? amazing. once we had a dove in our bathroom. it came every night at the same time and sat on top of the shower. but it was just a dove...
Cool, I've never really seen those birds outside of a Zoo or Farm over here in the UK, nice to see they still live free in places.
There used to be lot of peacocks in Tamil Nadu too. But kids of this generation can see them in photographs or videos only.
They can't even see peacocks in zoo?

Yes, it was indeed a rare sight to see so many roaming so freely in a beachside resort.
Usually they can only be found in the zoo.
