Foreign investors with a combine value of more than £13 billion have become involved in the English Premiership football club management over the past year. The power and control of overseas wealth is shown by these Premiership clubs:
Manchester United, Chelsea, Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, West Ham and Portsmouth with boardrooms headed by overseas figures.
The Football Rich List, compiled by FourFourTwo magazine, shows Chelsea's Russian owner Roman Abramovich way ahead of his rivals at Number One with a personal fortune of £10.8 billion.
