The Future of Aviation

Singapore Airlines made aviation history with the completion of the inaugural commercial flight of Airbus superjumbo jet A380 from Singapore to Sydney. This is the historic day where the gigantic double-decker made its maiden passenger voyage and flew into aviation history.

It is a flight that sets a new benchmark for luxury, space and comfort. It isn’t just another first for Singapore Airlines. It is a defining moment for the global aviation industry.

The Singapore Airlines A380 is designed to carry 471 passengers in the grandest of style with 12 Singapore Airlines Suites, 60 Business Class seats and 399 Economy Class seats.

The A380 is the world’s largest passenger aircraft. It is a mammoth aviation engineering feat and a true environmental champion designed to meet the demand of air travel today and in the future. Here’s a sneak peek of its luxurious passenger cabin for the majority of us who are not lucky enough to be part of history in the making.
